Bashaar Publishing House was established in 2015 as a sister imprint to the veteran Minerva Publishing House. Our mission is to provide a high-quality home for works and publications of significant cultural or public importance—titles that, despite their immense value to the Hebrew reader, may not have found their place within other mainstream publishing houses.
Literary Diversity and Unique Projects
The Bashaar catalog is defined by a meticulous selection of titles designed to enrich the Israeli bookshelf. Among our flagship projects is the re-release of curated titles from the Mifras Publishing House archives, alongside a dedicated series of translations featuring renowned world epics. Additionally, we place a special emphasis on classic literature for young adults, driven by our firm belief in the power of quality storytelling for the younger generation.
Supporting Independent Creation
Bashaar Publishing House also assists in the distribution of self-published works. Our goal is to serve as a bridge, bringing fresh, unique, and independent voices to our community of readers.
